2024 Light of Life Gala
2 Corinthians. 4:6 “‘Let light shine out of darkness…’”
The 30th Annual Light of Life Gala at the Westin Galleria was a truly special event. It was a beautiful celebration that commemorated the founders of the Woman to Woman Health Centers and honored CEO Carolyn Cline’s vision for the future. Celebrating achievements and looking ahead to future goals created anticipation as we announced the purchase of a new building to serve women in Garland at our third location.
Our keynote speaker, Jonathan Evans, pastor, mentor, author, chaplain of the Dallas Cowboys, and co-chaplain of the Dallas Mavericks provided practical reminders of our responsibility to make a positive mark on the world while honoring life. He shared the personal influence of two men sharing the love of Jesus with his grandparents and how they in turn shared the gospel message with their children, producing the fruit of the Tony Evans family being used to share the Gospel worldwide. He stressed the importance of providing Christ-centered healthcare access from the womb to the tomb. Woman to Woman Health Centers provide that type of health care in a loving and accepting environment. Each guest received Jonathan’s energizing book Your Time is Now – Get What God Has Given You.
Guest Mistress of Ceremonies, Dr. Katie Frugé, Director for the Center for Cultural Engagement, shared her inspiring story of choosing life when she and her husband were faced twice with knowing pre-birth they would have severely handicapped daughters. Her love and commitment to her daughters in the womb by choosing life is a testimony of her love for life and our Lord. She applauded the work done by Woman to Woman Health Center that provides women with life-affirming options which support the health of women and their children.
The Woman to Woman Health Center team is committed to serving patients with excellent medical services and empowering health education. Our ministry’s commitment to women is displayed each day through the indwelling of Christ’s Spirit to meet women at their specific point of need. Our dedicated staff covets your daily prayers.
