North Texas Giving Tuesday Now

As of today, there have been 30,990 reported deaths due to COVID-19 in the U.S. As devastating as this is, in 2017, in contrast there were approximately 862,320 abortions in the United States (Guttmacher Institute). Just as healthcare workers are working tirelessly to alleviate this pandemic, we too must continue to press on to protect the lives of the unborn and their mothers by serving women with the essential medical services they need.

We are hearing from pregnant women who feel more desperate than ever due to Covid-19. Job loss or furlough is a catastrophe for them. The Hospital ER is sometimes the place where they go in labor, having never received prenatal care. Our clinic is focused on this medical reality all the time.

The Fifth Circuit Court has just allowed for chemical/non-surgical abortions to resume in Texas. Drug-induced abortions, using RU-486 abortion pills, have as much as a 20% complication rate according to a 2009 peer reviewed study in Obstetrics and Gynecology. NOW is not the time for our critical services to evaporate due to lack of funding.

North Texas Giving Tuesday Now on Tuesday, May 5th, 2020 is an emergency campaign open to the North Texas community offering the opportunity to help us continue serving women through providing needed operating funds. We are grateful for your support! It encourages us to remain faithful in the fight for LIFE.
