2023 Light of Life Gala
What a wonderful evening sharing and encouraging each other with words of LIFE at our 29th Annual Light of Life Gala at the Westin Galleria last Friday night!
Our keynote speaker, 2021 Mrs. Universe Tori Hope Petersen, shared touching personal stories from her earliest life experiences. She relayed the positive influence of a Christian track coach who shared the love of Christ, changing the trajectory of her life having been raised in 12 different foster homes. All were touched by her redemptive story and the challenge to inject hope and encouragement into our dark culture.
Guest Master of Ceremonies, Pastor Shea Sumlin of ministry partner Northway Church, added warmth and a strong personal endorsement of the work of the Woman to Woman Health Centers as leaders in Christ-centered women’s health.
Involved for Life CEO Carolyn Cline (pictured below surrounded by her staff) shared a ministry update and latest statistics regarding abortion pill activity in North Texas, helping the attendees realize that pro-life intervention is certainly needed now to combat abortion tourism, the wide-spread illegal use of the abortion pill, and the need for education and accurate medical information for women seeking the abortion pill.
