2021 Light of Life Gala

April

Psalm 31:2, “Turn Your ear to listen to me; rescue me quickly. Be my rock of protection, a fortress where I will be safe.”

What an exciting evening we experienced last Friday night at our Light of Life Gala celebrating Involved for Life’s 27 years of ministry in North Texas! The energy was palpable as most in the room experienced and enjoyed their first major gathering after a year of sheltering-in-place. The Lord’s presence was evident as our patient Hallie shared her powerful testimony of redemption.

Keynote speaker Dr. Walt Larimore used humor and poignant stories from his medical practice to demonstrate how ministry to women and their families can be very successfully accomplished through the compassionate provision of needed medical services. He applauded Involved for Life for being “on the cutting edge” by providing successful ministry through reproductive health services stating, “They (Involved for Life) are a national model.”

Guests were challenged and invited to “Get Involved for Life” by financially participating in funding the operations of the Downtown medical clinic, help with the expansion of the new satellite clinic opened in August 2020 in Southwest Dallas, and planting financial seeds for a new location planned to open in the near future in Garland.
